What a fantastic weekend for Dave Jordan Racing! We picked up two Leader’s Jerseys in two different race series. Chris Strumolo, our newly minted Cat 2, took 2nd place in this weekend’s CRCA Club Race which put him in the lead of the Jim Boyd Point Series.
In the opening race of the Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Series, Greg Defiore, Cat 4, sprinted for the win after Erick Fernandez spent a lap off the front in a solo break that spread the field out in pursuit. Brett Halpern and Nigel contributed to the effort with some work up front. Dave Jordan Racing is now wearing the Leader’s Jersey for the Lucarelli & Castaldi Cup Series.
Hard work. Dedication. Teamwork.
Kudos!!!! First Battenkill! Now NYC!

“Team Sixcycle-RK&O has enjoyed a successful start to the 2013 Bethel Spring Series, bringing a strong roster of riders to each of the first three races in the series. Racing aggressively the team has put three different riders on the podium in each of the first three races – Ben Fackler taking third in a break in the Ronde de Bethel, Roger Parmelee taking second in the Ris Van Bethel and this weekend Matthew Vandivort taking a solo win in Tour de Kirche. This team effort has put Matthew Vandivort in the leader’s jersey and has put Team Sixcycle-RK&O in the lead of the team competition series.”

Yes - massive kudos to Ben Fackler, Roger Parmelee and Matthew Vandivort for the podium results.

It was a great weekend of racing. The Dave Jordan Racing team was racing all over the metropolitan region. We had racers at Grant’s Tomb, Branch Brook, the NYC Spring Series, Bethel and South Jersey Spring Series. We got Top 10 results at each of those races!
